By the end of the course, students should be able  to:    

أ- المعلومات والمفاهيم :

2.a.1. discuss the most important methods of decontamination, sterilization and principles of infection control.

2.a.2. Describe the basics and advances of antimicrobial chemotherapy and resistance.

2.a.3. Illustrate different surgical procedures.

2.a.4. identify ethical and legal aspects of managing patients.

2.a.5.Describe how to follow up the patients and deal with the complications.

ب- المهارات الذهنية  :

2.b.1 Analyze and evaluate scientific basic knowledge and to do conclusions from it.

2.b.2   Assess the general condition of the patient to determine the safety of surgical option in such case.

2.b.3  Make decisions to manage the case surgically or medically according to the condition .

2.b.5  Engage in evidence based discussions.

جـ- المهارات المهنية الخاصة بالمقرر :

2.c.1. Perform efficiently the appropriate steps to analyze the disease

2.c.2. Examine common disorders such as inguinal hernia, hydrocele

2.c.3. Examine cases  of  varicocele  and determine its degree

2.c.4. Write and appraise medical reports.

2.c.5 Evaluate scrotal imaging reports

2.c.6 Gather information from patients systematically, using questions that are appropriately focused

2.c.7 Apply sterile, safe techniques during patient examination

2.d.1. Communicate properly with the staff members as well as with each other.

2.d.2. Work effectively in groups.
