1- Program aims:
1/1. To learn high level of clinical skills, bedside care skills of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in addition to update medical knowledge as well as clinical experience and competence in the area of high risk pregnancy, endoscopy, family planning, reproductive medicine, as well as enabling the candidates of making appropriate referrals to a sub-specialist.
1/2. To Provide fundamental knowledge of emergency Obstetric care as regards; dealing with critical Obstetric patients, prophylactic management of high risk cases, running a busy emergency Obstetric unit, cooperative management of patients in conjunction with other departments, fundamentals of surgical intervention and postoperative critical care, and ICU referral and management.

1/4.To enable candidates to understand and get the best of published scientific research and do their own.

On successful completion of the program, the graduate will be able to:
2.a.1. Explain the essential facts and principles of relevant basic sciences including, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Public Health, Microbiology, related to Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
2.a.2. illustrate essential facts of clinically supportive sciences including General surgery and Internal Medicine .
2.a.3. Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of etiology, clinical picture, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of common diseases and situations related to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
2.a.4. Understand the recent and update developments in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of common diseases related to Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
