2- المستهدف من تدريس المقرر :

By the end of the course, students should be able  to:

أ- المعلومات والمفاهيم :

 2.a.1        Dicuss skin and andrological manifestations of: Pituitary gland disorders, Adrenal gland disorders, Thyroid disorders DM.

 2.a.2        Mention the effects of: Liver cell failure, Hepatitis, Liver cirrhosis, Malabsorption syndrome Crohn‟s disease and ulcerative colitis on skin and male reprodution.

 2.a.3        List skin manifestation of chronic renal failure. 

 2.a.4        Describe clinical picture, investigations and treatment of Collagen diseases (SLE, Dermatomyositis , MCTD, rheumatoid arthritis and Sjogren‟s syndrome

 2.a.5        Describe clinical picture, investigations, diagnosis and management of Behcet‟ s syndrome, Polyarteritis nodosa, Wegner‟s granulomatosis, Churg Strauss disease and other forms of systemic vasculitis

 2.a.6        List different causes, clinical picture, diagnosis and management of anemias, coagulation disorders and hematologic malignancies

ب- المهارات الذهنية  :

2.b.1 Integrate the results of appropriate investigations with the clinical findings to diagnose different medical diseases which have skin manifestations

2.b.2 Evaluate the risk of catching infection during performing  examination of patients with infectious diseases

جـ- المهارات المهنية الخاصة بالمقرر :

2.c.1  Take history of present illness and past conditions using questions that are appropriately focused

2.c.2 Write and evaluate medical reports and prescriptions 

2.c.3 Apply sterile, safe techniques during examining the patients

2.c.4 Adjust doses of hypoglycemic drugs in patients receiving high doses of systemic steroids

2.c.5 Diagnose and refer cases with Cushing‟s syndrome, Addison‟s, adrenogenital syndrome, thyrotoxicosis and thyroid failure

2.c.6 Diagnose & refer cases with Crohn‟s disease, ulcerative colitis & diverticulosis

2.c.7 Prescribe appropriately dermatologic systemic therapies in cases with renal or liver impairment

2.c.8 Diagnose and manage SLE, Dermatomyositis, MCTD, rheumatoid arthritis ,Sjogren‟s syndrome, Behcet's syndrome, PAN, Wegner‟s granulomatosis and Churg Strauss disease
